The New-York Historical Society is delighted to offer programs that make history come alive for the entire family. Our exciting series of family programs include a weekly Sunday Story Hour in our new Barbara K. Lipman Children’s History Library, Family Learning Labs, and a chance to meet and greet some of our nation’s founders as well as military units from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Family Program
Every Tuesday and Friday. Free with Museum Admission. Ages 3-5. Each class includes time with historic toys, a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, story readings, and a related craft project.

Free with Museum admission. Recommended for ages 3-6. This weekend bring the family to search for their favorite toy trains with a scavenger hunt, decorate a car for the Transcontinental Railroad, and move and laugh with “Conductor Abe!”
