This scavenger hunt will take families all over the New-York Historical Society to discover the natural environment of New York through art and artifacts. Discover the nature-inspired designs of Tiffany lamps, breathtaking landscapes of the Hudson River School, and even a nineteenth-century roach trap! Ages 7 and up.

You'll have to look everywhere to answer questions like these:

This map of NEW NETHERLAND shows
How WILDLIFE once covered the east coast.
Name two kinds of animals do you see on this 1674 map


ROACHES have always roamed this city.
This TRAP caught them in the 1850s.
What was poured inside this to catch roaches?
