Bronze struck medal with obverse depicting seated allegorical female figure of Abundance within ornate gothic frame, holding laurel wreath and scepter and surrounded by agricutural implements, fruit, and stacks of wheat; legend around line border: "INTERNATIONALE LANDWIRTSCHAFTLICHE AUSSTELLUNG ZU HAMBURG 1863." Reverse bears seal of the city of Hamburg against the background of gothic quatrefoil grid, with elaborately scrolling band below; legend around line border: "GESTIFTET VON BURGERN DER FREIEN STADT HAMBURG."
