Description: 
Scalloped-edged diamond shaped porcelain dish painted in underglaze blue of varying intensity in a complicated pattern of petal-shaped panels, large "cracked ice" border witn concentric sets of stylized leaf and petal design containing a central stylized flower (Kangxi Lotus Pattern); the exterior has floral sparys with a blue border top and bottom; ribbon-tied emblem inside blue painted borders.
Gallery Label: 
The pattern on the dish is called the "Kangxi Lotus" pattern, a close copy of an 18th century Chinese design.
