Pewter struck replica of award medal presented to captors of Major John Andre; obverse of oval medal contains rococo shield at center flanked by laurel and floral branches, with scroll above inscribed: "FIDELITY"; all within beaded border. Reverse has space at center inscribed: "FACSIMILE/MEDAL/GIVEN/PATRIOTS/VAN WERT,/PAULDING/&/WILLIAMS", surrounded by floral wreath; with legend: "AMOR/PATRIAE VINCIT"; all within beaded border. Semi-circular loop attached at center top; red, white, and blue ribbon with safety pin attached to loop.
