Blue silk ribbon printed in gold ink with: "HARTFORD, CONN./ SEPT. 21, 22, 23/ 1903"; celluloid pin at top printed in blue "MEMBER" with scalloped-edge rectagular brass frame; circular celluloid badge at bottom hanging from ribbon by brass rings printed "ASSOCIATION OF EXEMPT FIREMEN NEW YORK/ UNIFORMED COMPANY" around border with central color image of firefighter hosing down flames. Identical image and text on back side.
