The obverse is a green cross with enamel central medallion showing a castle; the reverse of the central medallion bears a lion motif. Baden, Order of the Lion of Zahringen.

typewritten: on label in case: "BADEN: ORDER OF THE LION OF ZAHRINGEN, THIRD CLASS" stamped: interior of case: cyrillic inscription that translates as "ORDER OF ST. STANISLAS IN THE SECOND DEGREE"
