A silver colored metal two-part medal. The top pin bar is a shaped like a scrolled banner embossed "Trenton/ N.J." and is connected to the lower medallion by a chain link. The lower medallion is gold metal shaped like a calipers with a crown at the top, spread over a red enameled Christian cross with a white rose, green cascading leaves and radiating rays over what appears to be a swan on a nest filled with cygnets. Also some letters are embossed, possibly "F N R T" or "F N R F". This medal appears to represent a chapter of the Free Masons, a mysterious and centuries old fraternal order involved in ritual celebrations, community and political service, moral education and philanthropy.
