Bronze struck medal, issued by the Society of Colonial Wars, with obverse showing accolated clothed busts of Sir Peter Warren and Sir William Pepperrell, facing left and labelled respecively: ".WARREN.", at left, and ".PEPPERRELL.", at right; two roundels with head of Native American and figure of European setteler flank central image; legend: "SOCIETY OF COLONIAL WARS/NIL DESPERANDUM CHRISTO DUCE/IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 150TH/ANNIVERSARY OF THE CAPTURE JUNE 17 1745." Reverse depicts view of city surrounded by harbor with sailing ships; legend above: "LUDOVICOBURGUM FUNDATUM ET MUNITUM"; date in exergue: "M.DCC.XX."
