Description: 
Rectangular plate with stamped eagle in center with shield on breast, three arrows in one talon, branch in other talon, and flanked by wreath at bottom, with rayed background, thirteen stars, and inscription inside scroll at top.
Gallery Label: 
This plate was part of a uniform waist belt worn by Joseph Bradley, a lieutenant in the 5th New York Cavalry, and later chaplain of the 10th New York Cavalry, during the Civil War.
