Circular metal badge with central grouping of fire helmet, axe, ladder and horn within rope border; encircling inscription "VOLUNTEER FIREMENS ASSOCIATION/ N.Y. CITY"; number plate at bottom "1104"; eagle perched at top over elongated Ionic column capital.
