Description
Molded oval basketweave porcelain drainer dish with scalloped rim having a set of molded leaves at each end; the form and stems picked out in painted underglaze blue, the center oval open in blue painted basketweave pattern surrounded by molded rope border from which molded archs extend to the rim; the rope molding is bordered by a painted cell design; and a scalloped blue painted border outlines the rim moldings; painted marks in the form of an an open crescent; footrim is pierced, probably recently, for a hanging display; use of this dish is unknown;
