Description 
Dress hat with dark blue wool crown with flat, circular top and black patent leather visor; gilded metal insignia in the form of a grenade above a banner mounted on a red textile ground on front of hat; "7" painted in black enamel on body of grenade; chin strap of gold metallic cloth tape secured at either side by a button embossed with New York State National Guard insignia.
