Two gold colored metal Shriners' pins. The first is a long collar or scarf pin, with a white enameled crescent moon crossed by a curved scimitar sword, a red five-pointed star and a blue banner marked "ACCA" at the top. The second pin is a tiny gold colored metal scimitar pin bar with yellow celluloid ram's horns suspended from a gold sleeve embossed with a pharoah's head and pyramid. A five-pointed star dangles between the curved ram's horns. This quasi-Egyptian and Arabic symbolism is representative of the Acca Temples of America also known as the Shriner's, notable for their red fez hats, miniature car parades and most significantly, philanthropic maintenance of hospitals for ill and disabled children.
