Description
Aluminum struck medal with obverse showing clothed bust of Paul Revere facing left with legend: "AMERICAN. REVOLUTION. BICENTENNIAL"; date at left of bust: "1975"; inscription below bust truncation, at right: "PAUL/REVERE." Reverse depicts standing figure of revolutionary soldier holding rifle, legend: "LEXINGTON..CONCORD/THIS SHOT HEARD/ROUND THE WORLD." Medal is sealed inside of plastic container and set into dark blue cardboard fitted case with blue paper and white textile interior.
