This weekend we’re traveling through time to New York before the American Revolution, back when it was called New Amsterdam! Learn all about Dutch New York in the new North Gallery of our fourth-floor Henry Luce III Center.
On Sunday, the Hudson River Ramblers will share stories and songs about 17th- and 18th-century life. Tag along for tales about New York’s Dutch leader, listen to tunes about New York City’s own pirate, and stick around for much more. You won’t want to miss this highly participatory show for kids!
Join us on Saturday as well to continue exploring early New York and meet the people of New Amsterdam!
