General (Ret.) Stanley A. McChrystal explores the major episodes and controversies of his eventful career, from his first day as a West Point plebe to his career in counterterrorism and as commanding officer of all U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan to his last day as a four-star general.

SPEAKER BIOS

Stanley A. McChrystal is a retired four-star Army general and author of My Share of the Task. Walter Russell Mead (co-moderator) is a Professor of Foreign Affairs and Humanities at Bard College. Roger Berkowitz (co-moderator) is the Academic Director of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College.
